I’ve let my personal presence on the web languish. In fact, it’s been a good 10 years between “index.html”s and the hobbyist in me that always tried to have something out there, albeit half-finished, done on a whim, and partially neglected since I got on the web with a members.aol.com back in the golden era of the internet.
There’s been a few recent articles floating around about how people are starting to revisit and enjoy the simple pleasure of handwriting code and building websites, and this is my attempt to do that. Yes, it’s using the Astro static site generator, so I get some help there, but that’s also conducive to my goal of producing performant, content-driven digital properties.
So this will be a place with some experimentation and can hopefully stand as a better example of my continuous learning as other attempts have in the past.
